At Ventilation Sheetmetal Limited I started off in the company as a fitter’s mate, which included installing ductwork, assisting fitters and placing orders with the office. I was also put on the Works Insurance so that I could drive the various vehicles. I was then promoted to work as a trainee contracts manager within the business. This included a vast range of duties including but not limited to managing contracts, placing orders for ductwork, adhering to time limits, managing fitters and mates, prioritising jobs, ordering of plant to site, maintenance of fleet vehicles, making site visits to see the scope of work and responding to emails from clients in a timely fashion. I was also a key holder to the business. I had access to my own work van to assist me in getting to sites. Also used AutoCad while working for Ventilation Sheetmetal Limited.

Eastbourne

During this time, I worked as a team leader on Produce. I was fully signed off within my role. I had responsibilities of writing schedules, managing teams in the department manager’s absence. Opening and locking of store. I was a key holder of the store. I would trade the shop floor for any given time. I also used to organise holiday scheduling for my department. I can also load and unload vehicles. As well as this I would also run the checkouts for periods of time.J Sainsbury’s in Eastbourne (town centre). At first I started out as a replenishment assistant and then I got promoted to code checking which means, reducing the products that are going out of date and I am also till trained. I was also one of the stores registered first aiders.
