As a Boston based Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Accounting, Valuation & Analytics (“AVA”) Advisory practice, Chris's experience included working with clients on financial accounting and reporting matters under both US GAAP and IFRS, focusing primarily on technical accounting matters and operation accounting issues in both assurance and consultative roles. Chris’s clients spaned numerous industries, including energy and resources, consumer and industrial products, and life sciences, and included a focus on organizations involved in commodity transacting.Chris’s experience included technical accounting transaction assessments (derivative, lease, consolidation, revenue recognition) and the assessment, application and implementation of accounting standards, including derivatives, leases, revenue recognition, and fair value. Additionally, Chris’s experience included consultative projects including IFRS implementation, bankruptcy emergence and fresh start accounting, the assessment and re-design of general ledger chart of accounts, and the assessment of commodity transacting front, middle, and back office functions. In additional to Chris’s role within the AVA practice, Chris was in a Leadership Development Program within Deloitte’s CFO Program.Prior to joining the AVA group, Chris spent a brief time in industry preceded by over five years in the Deloitte’s Audit practice serving Fortune 500 integrated energy service companies and power and utility clients providing Chris with diverse experience in both SEC, regulatory, and other financial reporting matters, and in technical accounting topics, with a specific focus on the energy industry. Chris is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
