Supervisor of a 40 soldier field artillery platoon conducting fire support operations. Managed all aspects of training and mission execution, as well as all supply and logistics operations in support of the combat outpost for which the platoon was responsible. Accountable for equipment valued in excess of $25 million. Executed over 100 artillery missions while deployed to Afghanistan.• Planned and supervised equipment retrograde and turn-in for more than 200 20-foot containers and $50 million in government property with no significant issues or loss of time due to error.• Assisted in the design and execution of the plan to draw down and close last major coalition base in western Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan.• Rated in the top 20% of officers within the battalion; commended by the brigade commander for superior performance.

Supervised an eight soldier operations center; responsible for the training and safe firing of Paladin Howitzers and their crews. Ensured the accurate management of all digital and analog firing databases and that all howitzers were fully mission capable and computing safe, accurate firing data.
