I also produced their annual guide to service providers in the Third Sector - The Regeneration Index.I was also responsible for moving their website from a static, fragmented behemoth to a streamlined, CMS-driven experience, based on ExpressionEngine. This added directory listings, an online jobs index and blog as well as the news section from the previous site.The company was merged into CLES (Centre for Local Economic Strategy) in 2010 and the base of operations moved to Manchester. I continued to help with technical aspects of the site. -

As it was my first real job, I can't complain and as it included daily deadlines and Artworking as its core components it allowed me a solid foundation for my skills in these areas.Also the hours I was expected to work were insane, which got me used to the kind of hours I would have to put into freelancing!
