As an associate on the Global Equity investment team I assist the analysts, portfolio managers, and COO in making data-driven decisions across our equity strategies• Explore new analysis methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our analysts’ estimates;• Use statistical methods and multiple data sources to inform decision makers on trends found across industries and companies;• Apply technologies such as Amazon S3, Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx to synthesize disparate data feeds into actionable reports and research.

Working on the data team, I collaborate with both front office and back office teams to successfully deliver business value through data. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of asset management and financial services. Key aspects of this role include: - Data warehousing 50,000,000+ rows in SQL Server following a star schema with slowly changing dimensions; - Supporting the firm wide ETL process for the orchestration between providers such as Bloomberg, FactSet, State Street Bank and our internal platforms; - Deliver analytic capabilities through tools such as Analysis Services, Power Pivot and Tableau; - Implement, support and grow SharePoint 2010 firmwide; - Supporting the technical transition from a private to public company during the IPO.
