Corporate Finance Advisor at Spayne Lindsay & Co. Responsible for venture and growth capital fundraising for high-growth owner-managed businesses and leading Spayne Lindsay’s partnership with Young Foodies, the UK’s largest community of food and drink challenger brands. During my time at Spayne Lindsay, I worked on a variety of advisory projects across food and beverage, leisure and hospitality and other consumer products.

As an Executive in Grant Thornton’s specialist Growth Finance team, my experiences involved advising on all types of early-stage fundraising transactions across the food & beverage, leisure & hospitality and retail sectors. I have experience working with companies on investment-readiness and full corporate finance lead advisory transactions, typically for Seed and Series A fundraises from £150k-£10m.During my time at Grant Thornton, I completed a secondment at Crowdcube, the UK's leading equity crowdfunding platform. My role involved working with the senior leadership team to develop Crowdcube's Crowdfund Bootcamp; a crowdfunding-ready programme in partnership with Grant Thornton, Tribefirst and SeedLegals to support start-ups in preparing for a successful crowdfunding campaign in five weeks through securing lead investment from HNWIs and venture capital investors.Prior to this, I was an Associate on Grant Thornton’s Future Leaders Programme; a rotational career pathway graduate scheme for high-potential individuals. Experiences included investor relations, strategic partnerships, business development and proposition development.

Internship in the market-leading assurance practice at Grant Thornton UK LLP, where I gained exposure to audits of a variety of public sector clients including local government, several NHS bodies and pension funds.
