Started as an athlete competing under the IFSA in 2003 after a several year hiatus from competitive skiing. Currently a Level 100 certified IFSA coach working for the past 11 years with Snowperformance, as the Youth Program Coordinator.

Returned to the multi-sport arena in 2013 after many years in hibernation :). Now competing in Ironman triathlon competitions and sharing my training expertise with others. Concentrated study in human physiology along with many years of participation and competition have made it possible for me to help others in their pursuits. Recent accomplishments include 4 top 1/3 finishes in Ironman - Ironman 140 Canada in 2013, Ironman 70 at Lake Stevens in 2015, Ironman 70.3 Lake Couer d Alene in 2017 and Ironman 140 Whistler Canada in 2017. I have my sites pointed to a World Championship Qualification in 2018 with 1 planned events... Ironman 70.3 at Kona HI in June 2018, hopefully culminating my season with the 70.3 World Championships in South Africa in September 2018.

Currently co-coach and coordinate the youth skier development program. Past lead coach for city league race training at Snoqualmie Pass through SnowPerformance.Responsible for managing the Youth Free ride Program and it's team of coaches and developing program content and focus.

Under the direction of my regional sales rep, Dean U'ren, I participate in many local "demo-days" which provide a way for retail customers to actually try our products before making a purchase decision. With over 30 years of professional experience in the ski industry and more than 50 years as a skier, I have become a valuable resource for my friends, family, colleagues, clients and local retailers for purchase decisions. My relationship with HEAD started when Dean agreed to sponsor my participation in the IFSA SkierCross circuit and my continued support and loyalty to the product has lead to my position as a Pro Sales Rep.

I currently provide monetary support to the US Ski And Snowboard Foundation through frequent donations and wholly support my team!!!!I also was a founding member of the Western Washington University Alpine and Nordic Ski Team, acting as an organizer, lead coach, and competitor. Members of my team qualified for NCSA Nationals 2 years in a row, 1985-1986.
