As a Leadership Development Consultant, I develop and deliver programmes to provide a pipeline of talent for SJP, in line with future business needs. The role involves relationship and project management with key senior stakeholders; identifying leadership development needs, designing & researching innovative, inspiring solutions, then delivering these, and following through on rigorous evaluation. I personally deliver elements of the programme as well as securing external expertise to fulfil the overall programme requirements. Key Responsibilities:-I take a lead on the delivery of leadership programmes for high potential corporate delegates.-This involves development needs analysis, developing programmes, securing resource and budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate leadership attributes and business priorities. A key priority is the inspiration of the delegates on the programme, along with the engagement of line managers and other senior stakeholders in programme delivery.-Setting programme objectives and success criteria, and evaluating delegate and programme performance against these criteria.-Relationship management with a designated Business Area. This will involve creating a pattern of engagement with the leadership team in the area, building a development strategy and securing resources to fulfil the strategy. I personally facilitate bespoke team development activities as part of the development strategy, depending on the specific development priorities for the area. -I utilise a range of psychometric and certified development tools to create bespoke events which deploy these to meet the specific needs of the business. These will include Insights Discovery and a selection of the following: Hogan, Emotional Intelligence, Situational Leadership, Action Centred Leadership, OPQ.

I worked within the Managing Director’s Office and was responsible for taking initiatives and strategies from conception, design and delivery to embedding in the retail network. Accountable for using effective relationship management to liaise with other departments to find practical solutions to challenges faced on the front line and translating multiple strategies into ‘do-able’ objectives in the branch network.I oversaw the design, delivery and implementation of a new job role, 350 Banking Hall Coordinators were recruited, trained and then placed into the largest and most challenged branches. The new BHCs have made a significant improvement to performance – reducing queuing times and delivering a measureable improvement in Customer Satisfaction scores across the branch network.
