Chris is a practicing attorney with wide ranging experience, including workers' compensation and OSHA citation defense, and civil litigation. Chris has represented employers in wrongful termination and defamation suits, along with all manner of workers comp and OSHA concerns in Oregon and Washington. He has represented lending agencies in residential real estate foreclosure proceedings. Combining that experience with personal injury work both from the plaintiff and defendant's side, Chris has developed a keen ability to relate to clients and discern their needs and interests. By understanding that a client is more than a bottom line, Chris is an effective and collaborative advocate always looking for a creative and vital challenge. As a former college football player and high school football coach, Chris also has a passionate interest in the ever-changing landscape of intercollegiate athletics in the wake of recent litigation and NLRB rulings; and ongoing performance enhancement and permanent injury litigation in professional football. He's always willing to entertain a lively discussion on those topics over a Portland IPA.In his free time, Chris enjoys relaxing with his wife, sons, and miniature chihuahuas. When not watching his chihuahuas dodge his sons, Chris enjoys playing basketball, jogging, cooking, and writing. Chris is an avid spectator of all sports; notably UO and Notre Dame football as well as the Portland Trailblazers.
