I am a seasoned (that means older and wiser) engineer working from my own lab doing design, engineering, PC layout, firmware and software for a number of large and small client companies. It is my extensive and widely varied experience that make me a valuable asset in all phases of product creation through production, and even into application support. I have been a technician working in nuclear power facilities, a licensed pilot, and chief engineer at multiple television production facilities. I have been a road crew member for live music productions, I have worked with high-power lasers in techno-show production, and I have designed unique silicon integrated circuits for three of the largest silicon chip makers in the US. I have worked as a consultant on integrated circuits, applications, medical devices, automotive and machine-control devices, and lighting and power controls. My name is on more than two dozen patents, two as primary.My clients enjoy that I can perform the tasks that usually require four or five separate engineers, programmers, and consultants, which saves them money and time. Not to mention well thought-out designs that result when the same person is doing it all, from start to finish. I have directed teams with a number of PhD and master’s degree engineers and programmers, and I have created and engineered many products entirely on my own. My time is my own, and so I have the luxury of directing projects for my clients in a most efficient manner. I don’t take-on just any project – and I have taken-on some simply because they interest me, or challenge my abilities.
