I am currently a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist Physical Therapist at Foothills Physical Therapy. With my completion of an orthopaedic residency at Scottsdale Healthcare and Manual Therapy Fellowship through Optim Manual Therapy, I feel I can contribute a unique perspective to managing orthopaedic injuries. Throughout my schooling and clinical work, I have developed a passion for orthopaedic and manual physical therapy. I recognize that to become a highly skilled practitioner, learning can never stop in the classroom. To help achieve that goal, I have completed multiple advanced manual training courses, implementing different aspects of biomechanical analysis.In August 2012, I, along with 2 other students, created a website for the purpose of being a clinical resource and a tool for communication in physical therapy. I have served as a faculty member of the OPTIM COMT program in Scottsdale, AZ where the goal is to educate practitioners on an eclectic approach to managing various injuries and am currently Program Coordinator, Faculty, and Mentor for the Orthopaedic Residency at Foothills Physical Therapy.My motivation to develop my skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy is key to achieving my professional goals. I do not view continuing education as a requirement for licensure, but as a professional duty and joy to being a competent practitioner. As Doctor of Physical Therapy, I have an endless list of additional coursework I am eager to begin in order to provide the highest level of care to my future patients.
