I currently am the Lead Full Stack Developer & Designer with Special Tactics Solutions Inc. where we're developing Full Stack Javascript applications using the MERN (Mongodb, Express, React, NodeJS) stack.Over the past few years, I have been working on a number of projects focusing on iOS (Swift), Android, & Full Stack JavaScript languages, including React, React Native, Angular, TypeScript, jQuery, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS (SASS), and many others. One of the qualities that makes me stand out above most others is my desire to learn. I enjoy learning new ideas, coding languages, and platforms. For many years I've been seeking out new learning opportunities and I've been embracing those opportunities by taking various courses on Treehouse, Codeschool, and Egghead.io to broaden my knowledge in web development. For those of you who are wondering what a Cross-Cultural Business degree entails...let me explain. Basically, it is very similar to an International Business Degree, in that I have gained valuable knowledge of the traditions, customs, and practices of various cultures.In the summer of 2012, I extended my education beyond the classroom and traveled to the southeast African country of Mozambique. I stayed at a Children's Center in the capital city of Mozambique known as Maputo for a little over one month. While I was there, I had the privilege to hang out with, encourage, and love on young orphan boys and girls. It was an amazing eye opening experience.
