Total employees 1,480. Responsible for the cost, quality, safety and production of 1.6 MM tons per year of alumina and 8.0 MM tons of bauxite. Turn-around and complete reorganization of business operations that had high cost product (bauxite & alumina) and low quality. Prior two years (1998-99), all operations had lost Operating Profit and had negative Cash Flow. Posted positive Operating Profit and Cash Flow the last 16 months while running these operations.
