Providing leadership and management as the first line supervisor allowed me to hone skills that drove later career success. As a Crew Chief, I served as the subject matter expert (SME) leading installation and maintenance of technically complex aircraft subsystem assemblies including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, supporting electronics. I prepared and executed aircraft inspections, identified deficiencies, and directed corrective actions ensuring 100% flight operability and safety program compliance. Accurate information management was essential in ensuring crew safety and aircraft operations, so I completed forms and reports capturing maintenance actions and data points with diagnosis and troubleshooting of subsystems. I also supported flight activities and duties as a non-rated flight crew member, maintaining operational safety, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory compliance.Selected Contributions:• Led, trained, supervised, and evaluated 39 personnel, ensured workflow, assignments, talent development, and sustainable engagement levels supporting organizational success.• Provided critical training to over 200 personnel representing multiple nations, increased joint team inter-operability and cross-functional knowledge related to helicopter mission sets. • Pioneered streamlined aviation life support equipment program; analyzed four disparate programs, eliminated inefficiencies, and combined functionality producing a single comprehensive, effective program meeting the needs of over 80 flight crew personnel.• Delivered 100% equipment compliance with strict aviation regulations and requirements; conducted thorough follow-up and electronic database tracking and management for 10+ aircrafts.
