At NEC, I was the team lead in the NEC Secure program for network support involving Cisco enterprise routing, switching, web content switching and firewalls. This group supported enterpise customers environments from total customer managed networks to as needed problem resolution.My role also included responsibility for the Cisco equipment lab environment for testing and problem reproduction.I taught classes to support personel for primarily Cisco routing and switching, 6500 hardware/software, and new Cisco IOS feature updates.

I started at EDS on the PC helpdesk after receiving the MCSE certification. During this time, I received certifications for CCDA and CCNP.I was moved to EDS Global Network Consulting where I designed and implemented a Cisco network solution to support the EDS standard VoIP template for DOW Chemical in Victoria, TX. After completing Victoria, I was sent to assist at Plaquemine, LA and New Orleans, LA DOW and UC locations.After DOW chemical, I was used as a technical network resource for several divestitures inside EDS that required the separation of leveraged network equipment.Once the diverstitures were complete, I was assigned to the Safety Kleen account for network design and support. I was responsible for designing a strategy and implementing the strategy to move Safety Kleen network equipment from North Carolina to the Plano EDS Campus. As part of a 2 person team, we accomplished the move of 100+ circuits and relocated the entire NC data center's network equipment.
