Christopher Gray joined MD Anderson in 2006 as the manager of server engineering. Currently, he manages the Open Systems Team that supports Linux and UNIX servers, Business Systems, and the Radiation Oncology Server Team. For MD Anderson he has managed various teams including windows servers, VMware virtualization, and infrastructure applications. He has helped built server infrastructures for many clinical applications including Centricity, TeraMedica Evercore, Cerner Millennium, Elekta MOSAIQ, and Epic. He has helped with technologies like a large VDI build-out for clinical users and MD Anderson’s high-performance computing environment.Mr. Gray has a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification and has obtained Fellow Member of HIMSS (FHIMSS) recognition. In 1993, he graduated from Louisiana State University. In 2015, he graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas completing an MBA with a concentration in information systems. He has been Project Management Institute (PMI) certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013 and obtained Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) status the from International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² in 2019.
