Christopher (Chris) Green is a recently retired business lawyer with over four decades' experience in private practice in the Province of British Columbia. A graduate of Queen’s University at Kingston, and Osgoode hall Law school, Chris has had a wide and varied professional experience, having acted as criminal defence counsel, crown counsel, counsel for the Insurance Corporation of BC, and as a barrister before every level of court in the Province. He is a past member of the Canadian Bar Association, the BC Trial Lawyers Association and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and was a regular participant in continuing legal education programmes, as well as lecturing in business law to the Surrey Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Programme, the Entrepreneur Apprenticeship programme, and the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme.He is the Past President of the Port Moody Foundation, and a former Parks Commissioner for the City of Port Moody. After a failed initial attempt at retirement Chris is attempting it again, this time without a safety net, however he retains his honorary position as Blogger Emeritus at Darnell Law Group in Langley. Much of the work of the firm is devoted family Law and estate litigation.Chris is fluent in English and Legalese, speaks bad French and broken Spanish, and can order beer in 13 other languages.
