Dr. Grivas graduated from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and his master’s degree in clinical anatomy and physiology instruction.Dr. Grivas grew up in Fairfax VA and was an avid athlete who played sports ranging from lacrosse to snowboarding. His love of sports and an active lifestyle led him to develop an interest in diagnosing and treating sports injuries. After graduation from Westfield High School, he went on to study health sciences at James Madison University and then chiropractic medicine at NYCC.A second passion of his, Dr. Grivas pursued a specialty in prenatal chiropractic. He became certified in the Webster Technique to treat expectant mothers, and become an extra support to his patients during the process of pregnancy.Along with this Dr. Grivas has worked with several professional sports teams including the Washington Football Team, D.C. United Soccer Club, and the XFL Washington Defenders. Skilled in bio-orthomechanics treatment protocols, active release therapy, dry needling, and joint mobilization. He puts this to use with his focus in sports medicine and ergonomics to treat all patients at the elite level, regardless their situation.
