I serve in many roles working in Broadcast Operations at WGBH. My work spans from workflow diagnostics of broadcast technologies including Myers Protrack, Crispin LoadingDock and Rapidplayer X, as well as traditional master control solutions, to analyzing strategic market research data. I work to keep WGBH’s educational and inspirational on-air product going by foreseeing and preventing discrepancies through planning and following up on preexisting issues. Much of my work revolves around Public Media Management (PMM) – a “first of its kind” cloud-based master control/media management solution. I diagnose workflow problems and prevent on-air discrepancies as well train others on new workflows. I am adept at media management, working with large-scale media databases in both the cloud and traditional format. I work interdepartmentally with several other departments in The Foundation, ranging from Creative Services, Pledge & Membership, Information Technology and many others. I represent my team in weekly planning and strategy meetings, as well as handle employee scheduling.

Working with social media and digital at WICN, I drive engagement with listeners and influencers; developing social media strategies based on social listening and analysis of user metrics. I coordinate a content calendar for social media campaigns while managing multi-channel postings across several platforms, including Facebook, and Twitter.I am responsible for developing content for a weekly newsletter and management of the station's website, as well as designing graphics and producing videos to promote live events. Working closely with the Development and Membership departments, I promote the brand and culture of WICN.In the Production Department at WICN, I manage the scheduling of underwriting and promotional material in AudioVault playlists. I work closely with the Traffic Manager to develop, write, record, and produce underwriting spots and promotional material. I manage the downloading and insertion of syndicated NPR shows and communication with producers. I have developed fundraising scripts and promotions, as well as served as second voice during on-air fund drives.
