At Arconic, my efforts were invested in both metal (DMLS) and plastic (SLS) additive manufacturing. For both manufacturing processes I mainly focused on materials including material characterizations, parameter development, and new material introductions. I also focused on instilling a data-centric mindset, creating systems for capturing important manufacturing data.

As a process and manufacturing engineer, my efforts were predominantly focused on implementing and refining manufacturing processes within various departments. Using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, I took an analytical approach to problem identification and solving ensuring a high likelihood of a positive outcome. I instituted a large set of KPIs allowing engineering and management to closely monitor department and site metrics and make agreed upon decisions on how to move forward.

For over a year I led a newly formed additive metals department and was responsibility for all managerial duties including hiring, equipment procurement, and department vision.During my tenure as manager, I was able to grow the department from a single piece of additive equipment to a robust fleet of equipment and employees with a defined path forward.
