- My goal: focus my expertise on automatic information extraction and indexing from document images for improving keyword search, machine translation and accessibility at the service of all.- My assets: I like knowledge sharing and international exchanges and I perceive my job as a continuous information watch, expert advice sharing, coaching and implementing operational software prototypes.I am adept at telecommuting for data monitoring and analysis, and at being on site to collect/verify/discuss data.On the other hand, I like to get involved as volunteer for collective actions for the common good in areas such as free software, mapping, circular economy, energy sobriety and biodiversity increase.- My skills: automatic image analysis of documents (administrative, newspapers, posters, comics, heritage) and maps (atlas, topological, etc.), optical character recognition (OCR), organization of scientific events, scientific popularization, teaching/training.- My soft skills : curious, communicative, rigorous, persevering, patient, generous, I prefer cooperation to competition, the common good to the private good, time to money and the natural to the artificial.- My accomplishments: my major projects involve the extraction of shape, text and semantic links from comic book images (Franco-Belge, American comics, manga and webtoon) as well as geographical maps such as the linguistic atlas of France (text in phonetic alphabet).
