About Christophe Risacher

I enjoy developing and operating astronomical instrumentation on the most extreme locations on Earth and space. Since 1998, I worked with ground-based telescopes such as the IRAM 30m in southern Spain, the NOEMA interferometer in the French Alps, the APEX 12m telescope on the Chilean Chajnantor Plateau at 5100m, with the airborne telescope installed on a modified Boeing 747 (SOFIA) and with space missions (past Herschel/HIFI and future such as Origins Space Telescope).
