My personal mantra is “BE ALL YOU CAN BE.” At my core, I admire hard workers who give life their best shot and support team members to complete meaningful common goals. The US Army taught me that perseverance and teamwork can take you beyond your perceived capabilities like removing thousands of weapons and explosives in Iraq as a platoon leader and promoting $670 million of infrastructure and public works projects in Iraq as the Project Management Officer. To apply my leadership experiences to the business world, I attended the Darden School of Business. Darden taught me business and analytical problem-solving skills and how to build sophisticated excel models to optimize business decisions. My modeling and forecasting skills were commended by the lead underwriters during my company’s $5 billion IPO. At NV Energy, I fine-tuned my Treasury and Financial Strategies skill sets by refinancing over $2 billion in debt and I assisted in the sale of electric transmission and telecommunication assets totaling $165 million. I also prepared a majority of the Finance presentations to the CFO & Board. In 2014, I joined Switch, a fast growing, privately-held data center tech start-up. As Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting directly to the CFO, I played a crucial role contributing in all finance related activities, which included a very successful IPO. I was proud to lead a talented team responsible for a diverse set of finance functions, including: financial models & forecasting; budget planning; corporate finance; investor relations; treasury; mergers and acquisitions; pricing analytics; energy procurement; and insurance. In 2019, I started Fitnix LLC to finalize the development of a revolutionary, versatile, and effective fitness device that will help people who are struggling to find the time and motivation to improve their fitness and health.
