I am currently a Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Paramedic for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS). I am currently based at Doncaster Ambulance Station, located on the suburban border from the town centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, within proximity to major road and motorway networks with an estimated population of 300,000.My role and responsibility as a HCPC registered Paramedic is to primarily deliver world-class patient-centred care, provide care, treatment and transport for emergency, non-emergency and urgent care patient-service users within the pre-hospital and emergency care setting. As a HCPC registered Paramedic my current professional contact includes: patient-service users, health-care professionals (HCP), family and relatives, and members of the public (NHS Health Careers, 2018).Prior to transferring into the medical sector, I have been fortunate enough and grateful to gain invaluable experience and knowledge, as an Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach at Doncaster Rovers Football Club working with the Foundation Phase (U8’s-U11’s) and Youth Development Phase (U12’s-U16’s). Working alongside the Head of Academy Strength & Conditioning.Additionally, I am a passionate individual and determined to further my studies, undertaking a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. In addition, I am currently interested in Advanced Clinical Practice, Critical Care and MSK Assessments, Examination, Management and Treatments.
