In his role as counsel for Great American, Mr. Dutton was involved in the investigation and disposition of surety bond claims. This included supervision of tender counsel, analysis of the surety bond principal’s financial health, strategic planning in resolving principal default situations, loss recoupment from indemnitors, and counsel to division leadership regarding liability exposure and setting of loss reserves.
