Team currently consist of 4 full-time Program Directors and various directors and coordinators of programs. * Program areas: Child Care, Camp, Leadership Programs and Youth Programs. *Created tiered accountability system, that included Site Directors receiving support from both myself and a director supervisor (Program Director). Increase vetting process for Director-lelvel staff to ensure that we were only hiring the best, A player, directors. * As of December 2016, branch is 22 months free of any violations from licensing. * In order to create a larger pool of candidates, some flexibility and to streamline marketing efforts and forms, went through the accreditation process with the American Camp Association, with the goal to allow our licensed child care programs to run as accredited day camps during the school breaks. Because we run both exempt and licensed day camps, this allows for us to be clear in our messaging to our community and eliminate confusion. Accreditation required that we pass over 300 standards. 5 day camp sites were accredited as a result of this effort. Staff buy-in was key to our success. * Created a drop-in after school program for older youth at an existing child care site in order to help reduce the large number of children on the waiting list. This program has increased revenue by $35k per year. * Was challenged in reaching campaign goal, so created a Spring Musical event, which invited parents to join us for performances by all of the child care centers in one central location. Over 200 children attended to perform and over 450 parents attended. Event was free and included family photo booth, raffles (all prizes donated), VIP seats, art auction and dinner. Event raised over $3,500 for our community support, after expenses. Show less

Branch child care had long history of Type A and B violations. Worked with staff to increase quality and safety. Implemented well-rounded curriculum, cleanliness standards, addressed all deferred maintenance, strengthened partnerships with Principals and PTA/PFA/PTSA, increased marketing to move accurately reflect what we were delivering and provided training and support for staff.* Through and existing partnership with our PE PLAY Program Director, was asked by a Principal in March of 2015 to open a licensed before and after school program on campus. Worked with Association Program office and completed process from beginning to end. Licensing paperwork and fees were submitted mid-July. Within less than 30 days, licensing had processed the paperwork, completed their pre-licensing visits and fully licensed the facility. Facility was able to open and operate on time and on schedule. Program generated un-budgeted revenue for the branch/Association. Once licensing received the paperwork from us, the entire process to license the site was less than 30 days, quickest in Association history. This was done due to a strong partnership with LPA. By this time, we had outgrown the YMCA branch and had moved day camp to Westchester High School. This caused some distress with parents, who were concerned with having their children at a day camp on a high school campus. We worked with parents to ease their concerns. By 2014, camp had to be relocated twice, as Westchester High School no longer had the room availability. Was able to successfully, although with challenges, move camp from Westchester High School to Cowan Elementaary School to Orville Wright Middle School. * Held Winter Wonderland Event at Culver-Palms Y in partnership with Preschool Program Director. Event was an annual event, which raised funds for our Community Support Campaign. Event was very successful, year-after-year, and generated thousands of dollars. Show less

Program net in 2013 was $90,000. By 2014, program was netting over 100k, and site had undergone remodel. Show less
