I was responsible for developing methods and metrics for the assessment of uptake of medicines at local and national scales. The role also involved systematic reviewing of external publicly available data and literature, as well as data directly from pharmaceutical companies. In addition I provided support to the Programme Manager relating to strategic decisions on impact and evaluation projects. I was also active in working groups at the NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre and at the Department of Health. I provided analytical support and statistical expertise in health economics, on commissioning guides and epidemiological baseline assessments.
