I worked as an Electronics Technician within the Australian Defence Force for eight years where I performed scheduled and breakdown maintenance on various electronic systems and sub-systems including communications equipment, optical instruments, mechatronic systems, radar systems and computer simulation systems. During this time, I was required to work within a team environment or as an individual. I have undertaken a degree in Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) at Deakin University Geelong. My study has built on my knowledge from technical work as well as introducing new skillsets in areas outside of my previous technical role. I have achieved excellent results in my degree, including specific research in control systems, physics, programming, and several design-based units.
