Knights Racing - Intake/Exhaust Package:▪ Improving performance of the 2013 system by utilizing SolidWorks, Ricardo Wave, and Star-CCM+ to design the intake and exhaust system for a small-displacement engine.▪ Drafted design specifications and manufactured prototypes to test and validate simulation results.▪ Performed validation of intake pressure distribution through the cylinders and flow rate through the restrictor by using a flow bench, pressure transducer, and NI LabVIEW.▪ Designed and implemented a Helmholtz resonator to the exhaust system to attenuate sound and improve power output by increasing the Kadenacy effect.
