I am a Construction Executive with over 30 years of experience and background in the design and construction of Heavy/Highway and Civil structures. For the last 21 years at SPS, I've been overseeing all aspects of construction contracting including cost estimating, hard-dollar bids, cost control, field supervision, project management, project scheduling, safety/risk analysis and management and quality control of construction contracts. I am routinely involved in the company's design/build ventures and value engineering analysis to capitalize on our collaboration, innovation and accelerated construction techniques. I am an inaugural member of SPS's Corporate Safety and Total Quality Management committees. In addition, I currently serve as Chairman of SPS's Corporate Compliance Committee.Prior to joining SPS, I worked for one of the region's large multi-disciplined design consultants, Louis Berger & Associates, and was responsible for the development of complete PS&E documents for highway and bridge projects.Now, with the formation of Construction Expert Consulting (CXC) in March 2015, I am working to bring the hands-on experience of a heavy/civil contracting firm to the engineering side of the business in an effort to help engineers and owners manage and mitigate their risks before the bid.If I can be of service to you and your team, or if you just want to talk more about managing your construction budget, schedule and quality, please reach out.
