CurrentChris is a shareholder, CEO and General Counsel at First Class Companies, the parent company of First Class Moving Systems, Inc., an agent of North American Van Lines, FC Equipment Leasing, FC Logistics, FC Commercial Services. He also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the North American Mover's Association (NAMA). His teams provide household goods and commercial moving services to consumers, corporations, government agencies and the Department of Defense. Chris attended Hofstra University in New York where he studied history and played football. He graduated from Montclair State University in New Jersey in 1996 with a BA in History and Political Science. He worked for United Van Lines during and after college from 1992 to 1998. He then studied law at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from 1998 to 2001 where he was awarded book awards for his work in Environmental Law and Lawyering Skills & Values. Chris clerked for Davis & Scarritt, P.A. in Tampa and practiced law for two of Florida's largest trial law firms from 2001 to 2004 where he handled a variety of cases in the areas of business law, commercial litigation, commercial truck litigation, construction law, premises liability, medical malpractice, real estate law and appellate practice.Chris founded First Class Moving Systems along with William Fallon in 2001 as a capital investor only. In 2004, he left his law practice and joined First Class full time and has since served in a variety of capacities. In 2014, First Class was honored as North American Van Lines' Agent of the Year. In 2015, the company expanded into the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale market via strategic acquisition. In 2021, the company expanded into the New Orleans market.
