I’m Chris Johnson, Executive Director at HealthChoice of Michigan. HealthChoice provides comprehensive health care benefits through a network of metro Detroit's most respected physicians and hospitals, and I’m excited to help it continue to grow and serve the community.I’m very passionate about helping people who need assistance, and even from my early career, I’ve pursued that goal. I began working for Wayne County in 1999. My first 9 years were spent as a therapist at the juvenile detention facility. From there I accepted a position within the Access to Care Division, which administers the HealthChoice of Michigan Programs, in the Department of Health, Human and Veteran Services.I’m proud to be part of making health coverage a real option for small business owners, who often think they can’t possibly afford coverage for themselves, let alone their employees.
