I am responsible for the coordination and facilitation of recruiting both military/veterans as well as community college students. It is also my task to establish new markets within the military and MN community college system for educational programs offered by Bethel University's Adult Undergraduate and Graduate School. This is a new position at Bethel.

As an enrollment counselor my greatest task was to connect an interested learner with the program that best fit their skills, experience, talents and strengths and/or career aspirations.

o Successfully lead department until a permanent director was found.o Managed staff/student personnel, and short term budget.o Researched and implemented a campus safety plan for the university.

o Developed and trained staff and student security officers.o Implemented training protocols and procedures for the department.

o Learned and practically applied pastoral skills within the U.S. Army “culture.”o Lead Christian worship services to troops under the direction of head Chaplain.o Counseled soldiers and their families.

o Supervised up to ten correctional officers and directed daily operations of up to 200 inmates.o Team leader directly responsible for the establishing and equipping of 3-5 soldiers.o Served on the Fort Knox Military Police Honor Guard
