Mr. Struck holds an engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His 23 years of industry experience began at Brüel & Kjær in Denmark where he developed measurement techniques and instrumentation including the industry standard Type 2012 Audio Analyzer and Type 4128 Head And Torso Simulator. He was Principal Consultant for Charles M. Salter Associates, an acoustical consulting firm. He developed digital hearing instruments as Manager of Electroacoustics in the Research Group at GN ReSound. He was Director of Engineering at Dolby Laboratories, where he oversaw encoder and decoder licensing. He was VP of Engineering for Tymphany Corporation, a loudspeaker manufacturer. He is currently CEO and Chief Scientist of CJS Labs, an audio and acoustics consulting firm in San Francisco.Mr. Struck is the author of numerous technical papers, application notes and articles. He provides training and lectures on the topics of acoustics, signal processing, and measurement techniques. He is a Fellow of the AES, a Fellow of the ASA, and a Senior Member of the IEEE, a member of INCE and a member of SMPTE.
