• Carried out PCR to create copies of the desired zebrafish DNA that codes for fluorescent proteins and proteins involved in the development of the blood-immune system
• Composed agarose gels and inserted zebrafish DNA into the wells to screen for positive specimens
• Aliquoted some DNA, added the appropriate primers, and sent off the samples for sequencing to see the coding for the gene of interest
