During my 8th year at Truven, I was recruited by C-level executives at Connecture, a healthcare IT and services company delivering healthcare shopping and enrollment portals to Medicare and large health plans. My role was to build and direct a CNX Analytics team to develop and execute critical innovation projects involving measurement, analysis, benchmarking and reporting of key business processes for internal and external clients. Contribution Highlights:▪ Guided nimble three-person team in designing a resilient and highly functional cloud reporting solution to help CNX executives and CNX's customers to comprehend and benchmark their health plan enrollment process and results. ▪ Created a real-time, Domo-based Insights Dashboard as key element of new reporting innovation to facilitate next generation interactive visual reporting of transactional and Google Analytics consumer web behavior data.▪ Delivered pilot Insights Dashboard to a major BCBS health plan in Pennsylvania and grew the pilot to Medicare business' consolidated cloud enrollment and sales platform.▪ Implemented CNX book of business data warehouse with real time updates and benchmarking capability integrated with Insights Dashboards.▪ Deployed a medical and ancillary store financial modeling application to aid the design of an AARP web store. With 5 years of experience as the practice leadership director, I won my next promotion to senior director of the payer analytics group. Here, I oversaw analytics team in administering consulting services to high-growth organizations and health plans, personally delivering $1M+ in consulting solutions for the year 2013. After earning my M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Vermont, I enrolled in the Mathematics PhD program at the State University of New York where I successfully passed all the qualifying exams for the PhD degree, but did not complete the dissertation. More than prepared to begin my career, I accepted an opportunity to perform as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Maine and from there I worked as a pension actuarial analyst at both Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche. I next landed at Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin where I advanced to a Senior Consultant delivering a wide range of healthcare financial consulting to large employers.However, after a few years I would be recruited into my first director position at Truven Health Analytics, an IBM Watson Health Company providing healthcare data and analytics services. In my new senior role, I started as a Client Service Director but quickly pivoted to the Practice Leadership team where I accelerated development of replicable consulting packages and analytics across Truven’s book of business. I also served as a major contributor in orchestrating the analyst coaching and professional development program; peer review guidelines; and other analytic/consulting procedures and led Analytic Education meetings.Contribution Highlights:▪ Managed data, analytic, and client services departments in spearheading the Truven Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP) solution.
