During my time at Under Armour, I participated in the top-to-bottom seasonal creation of product. I interacted cross-functionally with merchandising, design, development, costing, and material development on a weekly basis to assist in the creation of seasonal product lines. I also helped manage the input and digital organization of assortments in our internal PLM software. Working alongside my incredible team taught me how to bring excellent product to life with the consumers sharp point needs always in mind. Some of the highlights of my experience include, joining my design teammates on a trend shopping trip in NYC, creating and briefing in two new styles for future seasons, and presenting my final project focused on an internal & external market evaluation of the global headwear category, with a distinct focus on the Women’s & Sportstyle businesses.

As a Project Management Intern, I am assisting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in developing a novel fundraising event at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which can be scaled across the nation. This event will forward the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's amazing efforts in the fight against ALL women's cancers, while spreading the brand's message to the powerful UNC community.The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a non-profit with the mission of finding innovative ways to fight ALL cancers affecting women and providing support through giving strength, courage, and hope. The KYCF uniquely utilizes sport to support their mission and hosts #Play4Kay games, one arm of the organization's efforts, across the country in collaboration with athletic programs, ESPN, and Nike.

I spent 10 weeks in Bangkok, Thailand as an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Analyst at the Kenan Institute Asia developing a 60-page white paper ultimately presented at the Pfizer NextGen Healthy Aging Conference.The paper discussed research findings that revealed opportunities for the Thai Healthcare sector to serve the rapidly aging Thai population. Along with my partner, I interviewed approximately 15 industry professionals, ranging from the VP of Marketing at TetraPak to the founders of social enterprise YoungHappy. Ultimately, we concluded that rapid innovation from the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem in Thailand would be needed to serve the demographic shift facing the country. Living and working abroad provided an amazing opportunity for personal growth. Opportunities to stretch and grow excite me, and my time in Thailand inspires me to search for future international professional experiences.

Over my experience with the company, I generated over $20K in revenue consistently surpassing daily sales goals and excelled in achieving key performance indicator benchmarks. I participated in successful product launches and product marketing campaigns and performed regular inventory management. My favorite aspect of sales in the retail sportswear space was empowering customers with the correct products for their needs.
