I co-teach the Advanced Life Safety course offered by the Department of Fire Protection Engineering.

I joined Arup in August, 2016 and have participated in numerous fire protection design and consulting projects. I serve in a project manager role for many fire protection projects and am actively involved in pursuing new business for the Arup DC office.

I joined The Protection Engineering Group in January of 2013 as a Fire Protection Specialist and began working on fire suppression and fire alarm system design projects, as well as assisting in code consulting efforts with various clients. Later in 2013, I assumed the role of internal project manager for several small consulting projects. In March 2014, The Protection Engineering Group merged with GHD Inc, resulting in an expanded firm of 8500+ employees. I continued to gain technical experience in fire protection design and consulting, passing the PE exam in December 2014 to become a Fire Protection Engineer.In 2015, I began taking a more active role in business development activity for the GHD Baltimore office. At the same time, I took on project management responsibility for larger, more complex fire protection projects. By 2016, I was taking a key role in major sales efforts, including large, campus-wide fire protection projects for clients such as the Department of Veteran's Affairs and NASA.
