I'm a professional manager in the construction industry with over 40 years of experience. Project types have included high-end residential, residential community developments, commercial, institutional and historic preservation. I have worked at both the project and corporate levels for my entire career.I have a meticulous and detail-oriented nature which has helped with my success throughout my career. Although detail-oriented, I am able to step back and look at the big picture without losing sight of the all-important details. I am an excellent problem-solver, a skill I use frequently. I enjoy the diverse group of people I work with in the construction industry. With customers, I easily convey knowledge and confidence and quickly become a trusted advisor. My work experience and education also gives me an excellent perspective when working with architects and engineers. Trade contractors provide the greatest source of diversity within the business. I have always been able to develop excellent relationships with trade contractors; they are an important part of the process and I consider them part of the team. I particularly enjoy mentoring and educating others in the use of software and project management systems. I’m a huge believer in using technology, including cloud-based management and customer web portals, to their fullest advantage. These are important tools for streamlining the construction business. My goal is to constantly keep pace and stay on the cutting-edge of technology.My professional goal is to continue to advance my expertise within the construction industry, continue my education with current technology, to educate others by sharing my knowledge, and to lead others in pursuit of shared goals. Communication, sound judgment and strong leadership skills have been key to my growth and success.
