CK started off his career with Citi where he handled business development and sales for its private banking group. After Citi, he accepted a position in BDO Capital's investment banking group where he covered the consumer, retail, and technology sectors and helped his clients execute growth strategies. His work entailed him to lead cross-functional teams and perform data analysis, modeling, and valuation, which served as the basis for multi-billion dollar acquisitions and divestitures. Between his first and second year in business school, he worked at Blockchain, where he did strategy and business development work to help launch the company's digital wallet product in new markets. He then worked for Route 66 Ventures and covered the FinTech sector out of New York City. In 2017, he was hired to lead the Kraft Heinz Company's Thailand and the Philippines business units, which products he helped grow to market leaders in the sauce and dairy categories. He currently works as Co-Managing Director at his family office, Wong Chu King, Holdings Inc. In 2021, he launched his passion project called Grove Street Roasters. CK obsesses about his next perfect cup of coffee.
