With the successful work undertaken with the Openedge team I was asked to bring my skills to work across the wider business as Operations Director. The role has given me the great opportunity to learn more about running a business and help set the strategy for it’s ongoing success.• Extend the Openedge team’s ways of working to the other development teams in the business. A standard way of working has allowed us to capture performance details and identify areas where teams excelled over others. • Assist in attaining the Cyber Essentials Plus certification and embedding processes to keep data and system security at a high level.• Monitor and report on employee productivity, making sure all reports are available to the employees and their team leaders. Working them to identify areas where efficiencies can be made to improve productivity scores.• Prepare and review service reports for clients, detailing the work undertaken in the week or month.• Administer the Atlassian tool set used to log all work undertaken by Propel, both internal and client, including the previewing of additional addons to automate as much work as possible to help in productivity and reporting through Power Bi.• Working with the senior leadership team on strategy for the company.• Implemented Jira Service Management to give our clients a portal option to raise incidents, in addition to email contact.• Helping in the building of management reports using data from Jira and accounting system to show the companies profitability on a monthly basis.
