As a Senior Advisor, Chris provides expert guidance and advice for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s (WBCSD) Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) technology team. He brings extensive knowledge and a unique perspective from over 40 years of leadership experience in the technology industry. Organizations are under increasing pressure to decarbonize but struggle to create transparency on carbon emissions across their value chains (Scope 3.) PACT has developed global standards for calculating and exchanging consistent, comparable, and credible Scope 3 emission data across supply and value chains.The PACT specifications was developed by WBCSD, a non-government organization in conjunction with the world's leading companies. These specifications provide a standardized approach for calculating the carbon footprint from the manufacture and distribution of products and to simplify the syndication of carbon data among supply chain partners. The goal is to create consistency and transparency in carbon accounting and empower organizations to share vital carbon footprint data in the global battle against climate change.

Based on sponsorship of IBM's CMO/SVP and our senior Marketing executives, I built and led a team responsible for setting the strategy then implementing a road map to modernize IBM's internal Marketing technology systems, processes and a marketing new operating model. This include our "Single View of the Customer" project, new real-time personalized digital experiences, new performance management dashboards. The work became the inspiration for IBM's own CMO/CIO initiative.

I am on IBM's Corporate Marketing and Communications team and responsible for major marketing transformation projects across all IBM divisions.
