I thrive on innovation and relationships - this has been true from when I was employed as a teen in a pizza parlour, through concrete and other construction work, my university education, and nearly 20 years in my subsequent professional career. I am an experienced Computer Engineer with a passion for people and quality. Professionally, I've worked on everything from post-silicon processor SoC validation, to functional memory testing (DRAM and NAND), to SSD Qualification testing (NVME and SATA). This has involved a variety of jobs: from soldering wires to get a trace point, using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, reading hardware schematics, to writing high-level test and automation architectures for stressing circuits and controller logic.My first love in engineering was digital logic circuits. Although I've written test software for most of my career, my software algorithms often end up looking like optimized state machines and combinational logic. I take pride in both the simplicity and maintainability of the software solutions that I build.The best part of engineering is the time spent with people, working out solutions and solving problems in both the hardware and software realms of testing circuits.For many years I have considered my work as my business. My name is on it. The quality I provide and the dilligence I put in affects the output.
