• I led the PrePARE Study, working with children with peanut allergies to better understand how the body changes in response to allergens, and find what changes are measurable so that we might one day be able to detect reactions before typical symptoms develop.• Marketed our study with snazzy flyers and put them virtually anywhere a child and their parents could be (within MichMed), advertised through Meta marketing, and successfully met our study's ambitious enrollment goals.• Published an abstract and presented it at the Midwest Clinical and Translational Research Meeting; "Rethinking Predictive Values of IgE and Skin Prick Tests: Insights from Oral Food Challenges in Children with Peanut Allergy Diagnoses." This quantified the uncertainty inherent to common clinical allergy tests and demonstrated the value of more effective diagnostics.

• I rebuilt virtually every facet of our research database in RedCap to ensure a more uniform and efficient entry form for those entering data, and worked with our statistician to bridge the gap between how information was inputted and how it was interpreted.

• I provided guidance to staff and students in the lab, identifying that people were happier and did their best work when they understood the greater goals our group was working toward. I thoroughly enjoyed this part of my role and I believe I excelled at it, and it's what led me to enroll in the MBA program at the University of Wisconsin.

• I worked with a great group of wildly intelligent people to better understand Alzheimer's disease and how it originates within the brain. In this role I developed my interest in playing with Excel when I took charge of procurement of laboratory supplies and oversaw equipment maintenance, using things like pivot tables to track spending on grants. Sadly cut short with the happy news that my fiancée was accepted into a doctorate program and Michigan called us back.

I worked in logistics as a technician, eventually earning my way into the top laboratory logistics role. I had great exposure to diverse fields in medicine, and collaborated with them to find out how we could effectively meet their needs, while also planning how new projects would fit in with our own daily workflows.
