I assisted withsoftware development, database design, and various projects across the company, inlcuding opening abrand new line of business.• Implemented a brand new line of business for Commercial Auto vehicles with a small team.• Designed an automated process to move payment information from a legacy mainframe to themodern sql server, moving 20 million records, allowing the mainframe to be decommissionedand saving millions of dollars in equipment fees.• Created the credit card show token generation system and saving of the tokens, andimplemented the retry logic for failed payment authorizations.• Updated legacy lines of business to utilize modern systems; improving code quality, and systemperformance.• Contributed to accelerating the telematics Day 1 launch by integrating with their teamtemporarily, bringing the project to production weeks ahead of schedule.• Led the expansion of the Commercial Auto product to several additional states.• Mentored new hires and master engineers on processes and systems, accelerating their on-boarding and performance.• Led the effort to design and implement a program for the finance team to parse files withthousands of records into a database, ensuring data integrity and outputting formatted Excelspreadsheets.
