I am currently working at BECON as a Civil Engineer. The type projects I have recently worked on are multi-family land development, industrial subdivision, public road design, airplane taxiway and hangar. The tasks that I currently do include: •Draft layouts to meet planning and development code •Create planning set for land use decision•Grade lots to meet existing conditions, stormwater conveyance and ADA standards •Design roads horizontal and vertical control to meet ASHTO standards •Size stormwater infiltration systems to meet the Central Oregon Stormwater Manual (COSM)•Write stormwater report to show compliance with the design standards of the COSM •Provide rim and invert elevations for storm and sewer conveyance systems using pipe network•Create traffic control plans to meet Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) •Create a construction plan set for right-of-way and onsite work
