As the first organization to secure a large-scale exploration and exploitation contract in Afghanistan in a decade, Silk Road is set to become a pillar of the nation's emerging mining industry.The contract encompasses the exploration and anticipated exploitation of the extensive Shaida copper deposit located in Herat Province. We attained this opportunity through a competitive tender process initiated by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, and overseen by numerous international donor organizations.Beyond our exploration activities, I'm proud to note that Silk Road is deeply committed to supporting the community.
