as an advocate for food system access, equity, and stability issues, i empower action and accomplishment by collaborating with non-profit and mission-aligned for-profit organizations on the creation, building, and execution of community- and environmentally-minded food initiatives. as an artist i work in experiences and installation, sculpture, paint, and collage. my work explores the process of creation, perception, and connection: how we perceive nature, how we exist within the constructs that define society; how we interact with built environments; and how and why we surround ourselves with objects.

working with retailers and their brand partners to bring to life experiential retail interwoven with customer engagement and insight toolkits that result in high-touch customer service, drive customer community and loyalty, and allow brands to gain insight into shopper, dweller, and buyer patterns; conversion rates; interaction effectiveness; product and price performance; and customer satisfaction.

i created the concepts and brands (Bar Bambino for casual fine dining, Pronto for cafés and kiosks, Mia Filino for European-style delicatessen), authored business plans, raised start-up capital, and designed, planned, and managed all aspects of a multi-store dining concept focused on high-value dining experience, world-class customer service, community commitment, and food supply chain sustainability.our food and service were nationally and internationally recognized by The Michelin Guide, Bon Appetit Magazine, The New York Times, Lonely Planet, Louis Vuitton City Guides, and others. our interior architecture and design was awarded multiple industry awards including an IIAD Honor Award for Commercial Project.

i led the supply chain management practice for this software development and implementation consultancy. for our Fortune 1000 clients I provided supply chain thought leadership, strategy development and implementation, and operational process change management. as practice lead, i was responsible for general management and profitability including sales, program management, and operational support. consistently exceeded KPIs for utilization, project profitability, and customer satisfaction.

i created, launched, and led the development of a new business unit that was the corporate incubator for supply chain thought and technology leadership. i was an active member of the Supply Chain Council’s committee for creating and authoring v1 of the Supply Chain Operations Reference Model and was otherwise responsible for strategic planning, service/product development, team development, operations oversight, and marketing, sales, and business development for the business unit.

i was part of growing this 3PL to $30M. i started as a data analyst, eventually headed up the IT group, led the finance team, and ultimately led the international consulting practice targeted at mid-sized manufacturers.
