Working at Blue Tide Partners has allowed me to both work with market renters and help find second chance housing for those most in need. I would liaise between owners and tenants for a portfolio of 8 apartment complexes and 14 single family homes comprising of 271 units representing $122,000 of monthly rent and fees. Some of my duties include analyzing bids from contractors for provision of property services (i.e, cleaning, maintenance and security), overseeing construction and improvement of an additional 45 units for leasing, meeting with potential tenants to show properties, explain occupancy terms, negotiate rents and execute lease signings while also supervising a maintenance staff of 8 employees to ensure all tenants concerns were met while keeping units in ideal conditions. I was also responsible for conducting monthly maintenance checks ensuring that all facilities are fully repaired to be functional, safe and follow city and county regulations.
