In business divorce cases, Walters Law Group represents partners/owners in partnerships, family owned businesses, and closely held corporations that have disputes with the other partners and owners. The firm will protect the owner's interest in the company's dealings and assert their rights regarding the direction and decisions made by the company. In merger & acquisition cases, the firm will represent the acquiring or being acquired company regarding allegations of fraud in the disclosures and transaction, including the value of assets acquired, liabilities assumed.The firm offer the full range of employment services: preparation of employment documents, including handbooks & policies; employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements; advice regarding compliance with statutory requirements, including wage & hour, exempt status of employees, employee vs. independent contractor, overtime/holiday pay issues; resolving issues regarding terminated employees prior to litigation, including claims of wages owed & issues associated with former employee working for a competitor; and representation of employers in litigation.
